No it doesn't. it just drags things out. I'm not interested in watching coaches talking behind their clipboards. Call a play and get the fuck on with it. That's what I like about the CFL: shorter play clock (20 seconds vs 40 seconds in the NFL) and fewer time-out's (2 TO's per game vs 3 TO's per half in the NFL)

Fuck, they even give NFL teams 2 time-out's in overtime! Just snap the fucking ball and make a play. I've got shit to do.

The best rule change that MLB made was the pitch clock. As much as I like the drama of anticipating the next pitch, knowing that there's a limit on how long it can be dragged out makes it more exciting.

Agree with most, but Aviator felt like a loop of him romancing a pretty girl, then going loopy and crashing a car or plane. Repeat.
 
it's been a while since i gave it a good re-watch but i was convinced it was a masterpiece at the time. I'll try to cue it up for solo viewing sometime soon.

Irishman is great once you get past the CGI….agreed on the other two tho.

Haven’t seen Silence.
 
I was actually at the premiere. Any time you have to keep checking your watch and wonder how much longer, you know the movie draggggggged.
