OT: Movies/TV Shows

Not sure if its just 'urban legend' or not but Sergio Leone apparently toyed with the idea of having all three main leads in "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" get gunned down by Bronson at the beginning of "Once Upon a Time in the West":

To continue the "Westerns" subject matter, one of the coolest TV series intros:

I don't believe the show had the necessary permits to film that so they just did it "guerilla style" I didn't realize until much later that TV show essentially just "borrowed" a fair bit from the Eastwood flick "Coogan's Bluff".

Based on the 1968 movie "Coogan's Bluff", with Clint Eastwood.

So Reservation Dogs just ended and it might be one of the best TV shows of the '20s. It could be funny, sweet, and with a lot of heart plus respect for their community and culture.

We all come from different backgrounds, but we are all humans with the same need for community, belonging, and rituals.

I am sure most of you would find commonality in their community. I think there is a lot of commonality in all of your communities. We seem to forget that.

If you haven't seen it, I suggest you pick it up. 30-minute episodes.

During my extra time at home, I saw the Paul Newman docuseries on Max, which was very good, if you're a fan.

I also saw three movies of his that I hadn't seen before. Paris Blues (not bad), Harry & Son (pretty good-ish), and Exodus (which was the longest, most difficult watch I can recall for some time).

I caught the Smartless live tour docuseries with Arnett, Bateman, and Hayes. That was super entertaining.
