I'd say he's at least as big as Hamm, so i'd allow it, he'd be excellent in either the Lemmon or i think more Scott role.is Giamatti too big?
Also which of my choices were you laughing at?I'd say he's at least as big as Hamm, so i'd allow it, he'd be excellent in either the Lemmon or i think more Scott role.
Agreed on both, but which specific roles for each?William Fichtner would be good i think.
And I think Jeremy Strong would work.
Also which of my choices were you laughing at?
Also, the remake has your favorite in it. William Peterson.
Here's the thing, that character is supposed to be an idiot, wavering to each side, but also with a sense of innocent charm to him. Ironically twas William Peterson's role, who is void of charm.obviously the last one.
Agreed on both, but which specific roles for each?
Wasn't he an uncharismatic baddie in one of the Young Guns?ok so I literally just rewatched To Live and Die in LA last night and i have to give him credit he was very good in it. I still really dislike what he did in manhunter and everything else.
fair, its odd i did my own rewatch recently, but seriously thought i was the only person who adored the Lemmon version.i mean i can see the roles in my head but no chance i can name them or even specify them really. i'd have to rewatch.
Hanks is a pretty good Kline comparable, but it's tough to see Kline outperforming him in his best pics. So it makes sense to see sort of the lesser performances (rather, the lesser films) on the list.I loved Road to Perdition, and Hanks in it….but I’d pay to watch Kline’s attempt at it too.
your others are great candidates.
Nothing wrong with any of these Hanks performances, but I think Kline kills in any of them…
Cast Away
Green Mile
Captain Phillips
Catch Me if You Can (although him & Leo had a special contrasting chemistry)
Captain Philips
Davinci flicks?
Philadelphia (maybe?…tougher call)
Apollo 13 had to be Hanks tho.
Wasn't he an uncharismatic baddie in one of the Young Guns?
Also, every version of CSI ever is the most overrated dull drivel that was ever crazy popular, and his lead was the dullest of all time
Mary Steenburgen would absolutely be in my 12 Angry Women cast.
Alright lets go, this is essentially 12 actresses i genuinely enjoy and not necessarily how i cast themif you're gonna open that up then maybe stick Catherine Keener and Viola Davis in there.
And I think Jeremy Strong would work.
