They have a few channels here now that are dedicated to old tv (LOF's dream), and they play the original Mike Hammer show at night, and I've watched a few and sadly it doesn't hold up all that well. I doubt the remake would be worth a viewing.

What does hold up well and has some awesome pre-fame performances by some guys is Wiseguy. Surprising that Ken Wahl just fell off the map after that show.

The remake looks intentionally cringe, im almost almost going to do it.
 
Oh my dear lord, she's the worst one.

She's been 65 years old for the last 30 years and is terrible. Just go watch five minutes of the last Back to the Future and try to not let her turn ruin the franchise for you (the film is pure shit of course, but doesn't make her performance any easier to watch).

Everyone in that movie deserves a pass, it's arguably the worst entry in the history of trilogies.

I haven’t seen that one, but all I can confidently say is that I’ve never seen her make a film more enjoyable. Even in Life as a House, I was like they couldn’t find anyone better than great grandma for this part?

I *think* she was married to Malcom McDowell at the time so I guess it wasn't THAT much of a stretch in acting to be attracted to "Mr Wells".
