OT: Movies/TV Shows

Yeah i feel like there have been so many terrible fantastic 4 movies that there is no pulling that franchise from the dregs to make me give a shit, good for Ebon though, glad he gets a payday.

Yeah, it doesn’t matter. The first Fantastic 4 movie came out almost 20 years ago. Most people don’t even remember that one of its stars went on to play Captain America in the MCU.

And then nobody watched the more recent reboot, which was made purely so that Fox would continue to retain the rights to the characters.

And in general, Fox were so terrible at making comic book movies that they even managed to fuck up more often than not making X-Men flicks. Now that they’re back in the MCU, it’s a blank slate.

Yeah, those first two X-Men movies were good. And with only a few exceptions, their casting in those movies was A+.

Stewart, McKellan & Jackman in particular were iconic in their roles.

Even if you didnt see those movies, you knew they stunk.

And Marvel hasnt made a great movie since Infinity War. Nothing terrible really, but alot of forgettable.

Yup, it didn't take a decade for the Batman franchise to recover from Batman & Robin. Granted to took the right director to helm the project.

GOTG 3 was great, I thought. Possibly even the best of the three.

Though I suppose the credit for that goes to James Gunn, who won’t be making any more movies for Marvel.

And Marvel has had some great TV series since the Infinity Saga as well.
