OT: The M-Fing Food Thread

I never doubted it...I just don't know why some folks insist on explaining your tastes with logic, using some hastily concocted XgFood metric.

I say, EMBRACE THE RANDOMNESS. OUR SOULS ARE NOT SPREADSHEETS
That statement was pretty random. Well done.

There's only one rule that broadly applies to my eating habits. I don't take in any junk. Except...I get an In N Out burger almost every Sunday for lunch (which I don't consider junk, just not necessarily healthy), AND...I will occasionally do a fast foot cheat for lunch on Friday (original chicken sandwich at Burger King is my current go to). Aside from those, and drinking a little more Diet Coke during the covid era than I ever have, I'm an exceptionally healthy eater. Almost nothing fatty, nothing fried, very limited carb intake, tons of fruits and vegetables.

Please. You're saying too much. Your value here in this thread is built on a sense of mystery, just like TSLA accounting practices. Shhhhhh.

So - healthy aside from constant soda and fast food.

Drinks coke. Eats Burger King and shake Shack on reg. Feta in white bread sandwiches. Healthy eater. Adds up.

I've never really cared for Feta. I don't dislike it or anything, but it's pretty bland and tasteless to me. I don't think the issue is that I haven't tried quality stuff either---I've had it on dishes at quality restaurants, and from friends/family who are great cooks.

I used to have no time of day for Parmesan either, but my issue there was definitely trying nothing but shitty Parmesan for the longest time. The first time I tried a quality Parmagiano Reggiano, it became a staple for me. Love it on pasta dishes, potatoes or a pork roast.
