OT: The M-Fing Food Thread

I do also like a good poached egg, the problem is you have to usually make them yourself as restaurants consistently screw them up here.

I do like scrambled -- with ketchup -- Fried is good too though. sprinkle a bit of garlic powder on the yolks before you take 'em off, and throw on some chilies (I don't care for the reddish sour tasting hot sauces). Then make some nice hash browns with onion and dark rye toast. then add several pieces of bacon. and excellent coffee. . a lot of it.

I'd go with Fritatta personally...nobody ever makes those fucking things and they're one of the best representations of eggs possible.

I have to strongly - strongly - disagree there.

Frittatas and quiches are the nadir of eggmanship for me.

The **** is wrong with you?

quiches live at both ends of the spectrum. good quiches are great. but if it isn't a good quiche i find it inedible.

frittata is something i just never enjoy.

quiches and frittatas don't have a lot of margin for error; they go from perfect to inedibly dry in 30 seconds

Have to say I'm kinda with zeke on this one. Frttatas are not terrible when done perfectly but definitely nowhere near my favorite use of eggs. In fact, I very rarely truly enjoy them. They're just "fine" for me.

yeah, they do not make my list of 100 meals to have again before you die
