OT: The M-Fing Food Thread

Bless you fergy! I was able to order that 20 cu ft one from lowes that you linked. They say it will be delivered on the 4th.
 
Maybe nothing, but the reviews are scary. One dude wrote, I wish I could give zero stars

It really is amazing how much trash is on the market. Quality control these days is scary awful. Some of the flaws on these appliances are like... Really? How do you fuck that up?
 
In fairness it could just be a vocal minority with issues. If it meets expectations one is less likely to review.
 
lol, I cancelled it. I noted the ugly ratings but did not read them until pressing go. Horrifying is not overstating it.
 
I spent a few hours today trying to find one and could not. I'm guessing those reviews are why that unit is still available.

I tend to ignore a few bad reviews, but not if they are experience related (ie, they failed to show up and fix it, still waiting 3 months later)
 
I was just trying to be supportive for beleafer. Now that he canceled it I can firmly say that there's no doubt that the product is fucking garbage.

Yep, there was more than one that reported the same uneven temperatures and other technical issues. Customer service complaints about manufacturers, I tend to ignore.
 
It looks like I'll just wait until December for the model I want. Maybe we get early freeze and I stick my soups and stock in the shed.
