Nwora and Lewis both look junk to me.

Yeah, if you told me a month ago they would do a Pacers deal with no Mathurin, Walker, Smith or Nembhard....i mean fuck me those picks better be used well.

It's not though. OG younger and more valuable to a contender imo. Every team in the league is looking for OG, only a few looking for a ~30 yr old #2 offensive option about to get paid.

And OG is clearly going to extend with NYK, and NYK had their own roster situation with 2 guys that couldnt be used optimally

No. The way that trade is written, I don't love. I want Toppin & Jackson if we're taking Bruce Brown's salary this season and next.

Isnt Brown a team option for next year? He dont have to be here.

Yeah. I don't blame Pascal for not playing ball with teams interested in trading for him, especially with the 2 yr limitation on an extension when he wasn't traded by a few weeks ago.

This is a knock on effect from Masai making the mistake of being too patient with the Pascal-Fred-OG core. I would have much preferred a trade that had positive basketball impacts.

OG wasn't really part of the championship team.

The 2024 Pacers pick is probably high teens, the 2024 other pick is probably high 20's. The 2026 Pacers pick...who knows.

Yeah, its a shame he's too expensive to hang onto, and has no value this year to anyone, but really he's simply the filler in this deal and you walk away from him and Trent
