So I guess Raps should be players in FA this year or trade for a "bad" contract?

Let's tank this year, which they should, since they didn't get any real reinforcements. Get a top 6 pick and reload in the Summer.

Signing Siakam to a max deal would have been pretty bad. Unless someone came along and gave you SGA or Giannis for him for no reason.

So the Raps have 4 (maybe 5) picks this year, in a bad draft. Seems like a trade will happen to consolidate those picks into a player.

I cant think the value of Brown is anything to worry about unless you find some team who really wants expirings

I could see someone give up a 1st for Brown and another expiring. Brown is a nice player for a contender to add.

Damn, I guess there wasn't a deal to be had for an impact body. At least Masai didn't let him walk for no compensation. Gonna be so weird seeing him in another jersey. But yeah, if you can't get a piece you want to move forward with, at least get cap space (an asset) and a bunch of picks.

Nwora and Lewis both look junk to me.
