OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

There are two reasons why it makes total sense to at least explore Buehrle trade talks to see what might be available out there:

2014 - $18 million
2015 - $19 million
 
They'd have to take at least 14-15M of that 18-19M to get another 200 inning pitcher. I really don't see the point.

Buehrle is pretty much a lock for 200 innings. You can't say that about many guys.

Rogers obviously has cash to burn. Get it done.
 
Cano will re-sign with the Yankees, no doubt.

However, I am sure he would be quite happy in Toronto if we paid him. I believe that him, Reyes and Encarnacion are good friends.
 
If I was the heir to the Roger's dynasty, I would call a 300 million dollar "**** you" to the Yankees....Tuesday.
