Depends on how serious Rogers is about opening the purse strings. We've got a bigger sugar daddy than anyone else in the league, when they start letting us shop at Louis Vittons (as we deserve to considering market size and the size of local TV deals being handed out these days) instead of Old Navy, players like this are well within our reach.

I can tell you personally that after talking to him on this subject Steve will not be voting for Roy the first time he's eligible.

To regain a bit of the hype that they had to start last season they should get this guy.

Though i wouldn't be surprised to see this guy get signed by a team like the Athletics or Reds and get the usual AA interview how we were only a million off. Then to see him go on to be a Cy Young candidate.

He's not wrong. It's a big issue for the BHOF. You've got writers who haven't covered baseball in years having a day in who makes it.
