OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

Obviously means they have their hearts set on another OF or two.
Yeah, that meant they didn't want Teo, have decided on a replacement, and wanted the return.

I was a big Teo fan from day one, so this is a bummer. I kinda hate trading good hitters for relievers. Relievers are fucking failed starters for the most part. Who is paying that guy $14M to toss an inning or two every 2 or 3 games. Sheesh.

I will say, it is cute that after all these years you still are so willing to give shapkins the benefit of the doubt and defer to their 'plan'.

it is clear to me that these guys have a pattern of operating that has been built up over enough years to have lost that benefit of the doubt, but I guess you disagree, which is also okay.
Nothing is clear to you, your a moron idiot AA fanboy that probably doesnt really like baseball.

1. personal attack uncalled for and unnecessary.
2. your failure to actually rebut the substance of any of my posts leads me to conclude you agree with their contents
3. you obviously have no idea how I actually feel about baseball

I dont disagree with most of this, and tbf i wouldnt have extended Teo, not with the money we're going to owe others down the line.

And ill add this, for the most part, the teams left standing at the end have the best pens in the league. RP are more important now than ever ( do ignore the 2022 Phillies)

I can only guess, but youve had nothing positive to say about Shatkins since they got here despite some obviously good work, and continue to live like 2015 was the only time to be a Jays fan

this is verifiably untrue. at least know what the fuck you're talking about before you have a hissy fit.

lots of shapkins haters, myself included, gave them credit when they did things like sign Ryu or Springer, or trade for Berrios. I'm not going to go find the posts but I know they exist.

you on the other hand have been utterly unable to comprehend that this management regime may be imperfect or make poor decisions.

Not “just” traded, but they traded Bader at the deadline, the guy that has been their primary CF for the last 5 years, to make room for Carlson.
If im not mistaken, Lars and O'Neill can play CF if need be and they have Yepez, and could move Donovan out there if they sign a SS

Carlson has a cannon. He would be great in CF. I love Danny Jansen, but you’d have to consider that move.

Nootbaar has an all-time-great name. He’s a corner OF though. He had a nice debut but his milb numbers are underwhelming.

Anyway, if they’re trading from surplus C, getting a LH CF would be ideal. I don’t think it will be Carlson though.
