OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

I miss the old days when I had the time to know literally every single player in the league.

Now I know the Jays and like 10 other guys. Never heard of Heaney or Senga.

Senga is a 29 year old pitcher coming over from Japan.

Heaney's been around for a while and has long been a darling of the advanced stats crowd. LHP who beasted with the Dodgers last year when he was healthy (2.46 Siera, 2.83 xFIP, 13.62 K/9, 2.35 BB/9).
 
Being in til the end on fucking Kyle Gibson is a grim grim thing considering we probably only get 1 MLB SP....

Heaney is the guy you sign if you think you are the smartest guys in the room and lucked out on Robbie Ray that one season

Senga is legit interesting.
 


The name Senga reminds me of this, which I haven't thought about since the last time I saw it live.

Mlbtraderumors predicts Senga will get 5/75 from somebody. Too risky.

Have to hope that if they’re looking at someone like Kyle Gibson it would be as a Stripling replacement, not as their big SP addition.
