I’m about equally optimistic about Yosver Zulueta, the 26-year old Cuban already in the organization. Yosver has better stuff, but Yariel I guess has better command. They’re both potentially solid setup RP guys.
I guess depth is never bad, but if it’s a multi-year commitment (mlbtraderumors predicted 4/32) and they pretend this is their big FA addition, that’s going to be pretty sad. The guy didn’t even pitch professionally last year.

Im reading the plan is for him to be a SP and start in AAA
this should temper the trade talk of our SP and RP on the big league roster ( unless this is just a sneaky way to keep Mitch White)
They better have a crazy higher budget that we thought if they have almost 40M to spend on a #4 RP, developmental SP, all glove CF, and all glove UTIL player.
