OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

All that matters to me is how fast the lid opened and how silent it was.

If anything louder than a prius, they should extend the renos.

Still one of the best stadiums in the league. I've been to games in San Fran, Pittsburgh, DC, Camden Yards, and have seen the stadiums in places like Cleveland, Detroit etc. the Dome makes me go "wow" everytime I enter it.

Yes I know this goes against what everyone thinks of the place. I love it.
Ha, I’ve also been to a bunch of stadiums and have the opposite feeling!

There’s a certain nostalgia and familiarity to the Dome but its a concrete bunker with shit sightlines. Or was.

I like the Dome quite a bit. I've been to:

Target Field
Miller Park
Wrigley
Fenway
The Trop
T Mobile
Progressive Field
PNC Park
Great American
Numerous MILB stadiums

And while it's not the top, the Dome is pretty pretty good after the renos

Yeah been to Fenway, Wrigley , Trop too.

Trop was the worse. Wrigley was really bad too. Too old.

Wrigley is very cool and I would fully endorse the city of Chicago declaring it some kind of historical structure and preserving it for kids and maybe minor league teams to play in for the next 100 years. It’s a shit MLB ballpark at this point.

For reference, the Cubs had been in Wrigley for 15 years when Maple Leaf Gardens was built.

How many calls have the Yankees taken from Boras since Cole went down? They’re getting Snell. Maybe still at less than they offered him initially.

i wonder if that's the hold-up ... is he demanding the $168m they offered earlier, and they're offering less, or is he still holding out for more?
