all the truck drivers I know were pissed off by the convoy sullying their image in the eyes of Canadians (and making it harder for them to do their damn jobs)
I also know essential workers who were upset with how quickly society reopened and the reckless disregard with which it did so. particularly in the context of healthcare.
and almost all of the truckers (in Canada, total, not the convoy) were vaccinated too. and to the extent they had problems with being unvaccinated, that was largely from American, not Canadian laws.
I don't understand the argument you're trying to make about class here - happy to entertain it though.
and instead of alluding to blind spots of the professional class types - please share them. I am curious.
