But let's be honest, Deadmonton's success starts and ends with McDavid & a little bit of Leon. Holland deserves no credit for that.

The only reason why Holland doesn't look like a complete incompetent is because he replaced an actual complete incompetent in Chiapet.

Smith is a solid tandem goalie at the right price , they would be toast with Koskinen right now

Ceci had a decent year and solid playoffs and way better than our great moves of Alzner or Savard

Nurse is overpaid but they were fucked without him , a legit top pair D who would of made team Canada

I have no issue overpaying core top players by a mil or 2 , and they cant replace Nurse

Better him than give 3 fingers Gally 6.5 who can be replaced with a 1.5 UFA vet

Shit drafting and development is what hurt them but its better now with Holloway and others

Kane was a steal and Hyman is exactly what they needed
