Couldnt care less if he was fourth , there is no way he goes ahead of Wright for us

There was never a debate of Wright vs Slaf in any draft conversation

Slaf took off with his Olympic production

Hall and Seguin had similar careers with Hall having that one exceptional year , but it was 1A/1B well before the draft

And it goes to prove it might take decades before you can say who was the best player of a draft year…..5 years post draft, people might have still picked Nolan over Jagr, 10 years post draft Jagr, 20 years postdraft you can argue Brodeur vs Jagr

For sure. Brodeur benefitted from the Devils’ style of play, which was the most boring in NHL history . . . but highly effective and productive for them.
