Maybe you should give gainful employment a shot. It’s proven to significantly reduce the stress and anxiety associated with soliciting ghost writers to post replies to strangers on Internet forums you’ve been banned from. It works by drastically cutting the amount of time you have to engage in meaningless bullshit and has no known side effects other than creating some actual value for society.

Zeke is doing the work no one else can or wants to do. I hope he keeps it up. Someone has to educate the masses.

But for the record, he keeps referring to a "study" of coaching changes which showed that on average there is no net positive impact from coaching changes, overall.

He (and his buds) keep saying this proves that coaches have no impact, and that the leafs are just experiencing a regression and/or the famous "new coach bump".

But the study says the opposite - it says that there is no such thing as a "new coach bump",...so the study actually says that a change from a new coach is likely due to the new coach, not the coaching change.

He does conflate that with a PDO Regression argument - but you can answer that by just pointing out that it's far more than just PDO - and that the underlying metrics (xgf/ga), especially the defensive ones, are not only far better than they were under babs this year, but far better than they've ever been under Babcock.


But dont worry about it. I'll get to it next month when the ban is partially lifted.
 
I enjoy his work, although it is funny seeing him get dismissed by the egotistical twitter nerds regarding his QOC obsession. He's probably not wrong but they don't take him seriously.
 
I don't get how you can argue there is no coaching impact when no one can deny the team employs a completely different system and all of the team effect data has changed.
