The 2019-2020 MotherFucking Season Thread

I love that the take in this city right now is that Freddy has historically bailed out a tragically bad defensive team....and now that Freddy is playing like an "average" goaltender, we're seeing what life is like when we don't get "superhuman" goaltending.

How do these people have jobs talking about hockey?
 
He wouldn't be my first choice, but Jimmy would be OK, just OK as a backup/platoon guy.

But I'd want Carolina to eat half his cap hit, or at the very least take Cody Ceci back in the deal.

The same Reimer thats never played more than 45 games?

I know you love him Zeke but ffs lets not go back to that well. Reimer was a mental midget that folded under pressure here and couldn't stay healthy long enough to matter.
 
With dougie out they could probably use a right side D.

Eat .9M and take Reimer down to 2.5M and its a tandem we could live with and it would give us room to make other deals without having to subtract from the roster.
 
Must be a toronto goalie thing. Fred, James, Bernier, Toskala, Gustavsson. Fck we've really been screwed by some bad tending.
 
Dube better not be sleeping on Lehner. That should be his #1 target.

Not much interest in Reimer -- mercurial. We already have that.
