IMO Muzzin should have gotten somewhere close to McDonagh/Spurgeon money on the open market.

4 years alone is a steal. I didn't even think it was possible when we were discussing resigning him. My position was it made no sense to sign him at his age unless he takes some kind of 4 year bargain contract for $4-5 mill.

He would have done much better July 1.

Totally. The 4 years is the best part. I said like a week or two ago that I would take a worse caphit as long as it's just 4 years. That 5th year would have probably been killer. Hopefully the 4th is good.

Does anyone here watch Muzzin on the ice? Guy smokes people, lays out great passes and can carry the puck, I actually posit, he is not even peaking yet. Just one of those guys who gets it, a little bit late.

Up till the breaking of his hand, he was by far, the best player in the game last night.

We are now missing three super players.

Riels, Muzzin and forward soup.

That is a lot to be missing.

If we make the playoffs, I think we win the CUP. Seems to be setting up. My Super Bowl guy isn't saying anything yet.
