Geno Malgs a healthy for Robertson. Out of everyone he would have been my choice too. His play has dipped a touch. Rotating guys like him in and out will keep them hungry

But if that Kampf line suddenly sucks ass again we'll know why.
 
Eh he's had his weakest little 3 game stretch here I think, both eye-test and nerdie-wise and has been sub 30% xgf% in 2 of his last 3.

He's an NHLer, full stop, and should be in more games than not. But yanking him out for Robertson one game is fine I think. It was him or ZAR for me; the line has lost a bit of juice and they should always be rotating guys in and out of their bottom 6 anyway. Next game they should get Malgin back in for ZAR. Just keep rotating, no need to be so rigid on largely replaceable players. Keeps them hungry too.

And I agree Jarny needs a tighter leash but I wouldn't touch the Swede line after last nights performance. Would be nice to see them go on a run here.

As soon as it was revealed that he went for an MRI and then immediately got put on LTIR this morning, an MCL injury and a 4-6 week absence pretty much automatically became the best-case-scenario.

Because yeah, if it was his ACL…he might not even be back for the start of the playoffs.
