It's because he isn't that good. He's a secondary complementary dude. A Bunting type at absolute best probably... A little cunty too I believe. But he's not someone to build around and he has more trade value than he'll ever have because of his great contract. The teams up against the cap that are looking to contend in the next few years will probably salivate over his contract. The Hawks probably aren't desperate to trade him but if you tempt them enough...Why is Chicago trading him? Isn't he exactly what they need more of?
I like the idea of him. I don't know if he's actually good or what he would cost. But it seems Dubassy to be interested. I wouldn't hesitate to unload Amirov in any upgrade since his upside is probably similar to what Bagel is right now. And they are trying to win now, after all.On the surface he looks good but what’s the acquisition cost? Amirov?
Not sure he’s that intriguing to send off a guy who could be way better not long from now.
A deal around Dermott would maybe be a nice hockey trade.
yeah I'm inclined to say no thanks just on the basis that Jonas suggested itOf the guys out there with term, I don't see anyone else out there that makes much sense. If the dude is actually good it's a no brainer to kick the tires on that. 1.5m for the next 3 playoff runs is obscene value for a dude that is potentially a legit 2nd line LW.
Chicago are dumdums. this part I agree with Jonas on at leastWhy is Chicago trading him? Isn't he exactly what they need more of?
That's the appeal for me. 3 playoffs of those types of guys at 1.5 is nice to have to go along with 2 years of bunting at 950k.I see Hagel as a Kerfoot/Johnsson/Kapanen level guy but still on his 2nd contract before the 3rd contract raise.
I think he's super elite at that stupid GAR thing which is probably nonsense. But yeah on ice shooting percentage is helping him out this year too.Which numbers?
