The Mother-fucking goddamn Off-season Thread

Liljegren was poop as fuck post deadline but yeah that's on Keefe. His confidence was shot and it's the coach's job to build that back up or ensure it doesn't get wrecked in the first place. As soon as the trades were made he should have come out front and center and said Timmy's spot isn't in danger. Because it really shouldn't have been. He was their 2nd best d up until that point in the season.

I love them. They need help. I keep saying it after every playoffs. Core 5th.

ROR wasn’t it. They need another real scorer. Knies might be one. If so, great. He’ll make it two. But they need to add an established goal scoring LW. Knies may only make up for the likely loss of Bunting.

Didn’t Dubas and Shanny have a face-to-face meeting after the presser?

And then Shanny said something along the lines of “it left me with more questions than answers”?

Then from there I believe it was radio silence until a late night “I want the job” e-mail from Dubas.
 
I thought it was before. Shanny tried to convince him to delay his presser after he brought him his concerns but Dubas wanted to go through with it.

after 200 pgs of deep analysis on this I could have my timeline mixed up too
