Is that honesty or stupidity, everything he said should be already understood to be happening without having to discuss it in the media. Dubas loves to talk and tries to pimp himself every chance he gets. Anyway shouldn't he be concentrating on finding a GM and letting him make these decisions?

FWIW they asked Kyle directly about how much he relies on analytics. He basically said he wants to build out the department in Pittsburgh and wants to lean on the nerdies heavily to help with everything from personnel decisions to coaching and in Toronto integrating all of the departments with analytics and collaboration he said "at first it was tough because of the walls and silos in between."

Why you getting pissy? I'm not evaluating or knocking the scouts or the draft picks, i'm simply saying it doesn't matter where or how many picks you have when your looking at what will be potentially coming up to help the team, i have no idea whay this would trigger you?

Not triggered or pissy but think your point that we should ignore context is absolutely dumb. And we do have prospects coming up who will help this team.
 
That’s pretty odd. I guess Shanny was done with him after his presser, full stop. The extra demand he made was irrelevant because he was already effectively done.

I never made that point since my point had nothing to do with discussing the performance of the scouting department but what prospects we had that could potentially help the Leafs.
