yeah, it's this, plus the fact that Ersson looked great last year.Only other explanation I can think of if the Hart rumours are true is that it could also be that the Flyers are going all-in on tanking. So they want an all-shitty goalie tandem like Chicago with Mrazek & Stalock.
Otherwise, yeah, I don’t get why there’s be any urgency to deal him on Philly’s part.
Exactly this. They love Ersson and think he can be the guy, and have minor doubts on Hart’s mental toughness.yeah, it's this, plus the fact that Ersson looked great last year.
Carter Hart is just 24, though. So there are zero reasons to trade him unless the return is worth it.
Well, it's a reasonable question considering goalies don't typically garner much in trades.slow news day, I guess
Team will not trade player X unless return is good!
Your 5 day forecast is coming up next.
My exact take on Dubas' failure.
honestly hate that they call it a "core 4" in terms of team strategy going forward.
The 33yr old Tavares is not part of some core that you don't want to move. He's not at all similar to the other 3 in this regard.
And awesome. No but he's just as expensive, and unmovable (just for different reasons).

untradeable players aren't core players.
not sure what the hell that means, but Tre made it pretty clear in the press conference that this team is not about 4 guys. Not sure how they keep the 4 guys and actually change it though.
if you're taking him off the table because he's "untradeable" (which i'd heavily dispute anyways), then he shouldn't be being called part of any "core".
