I think Kallgren is interesting enough to just run with as a backup to see what he’s got. In his first taste, he won 2/3 of the games he played. I’m sure he could easily do that again. And that’s good enough for the regular season.

For insurance, add the best expiring goalie at the deadline.

Also, with exception of MAF, who was terrible, where are all these Goalie at the deadline moves coming from? They are not really things that happen.

Very noisy stat, but yes, that’s all I care about in the regular season from a backup. And if he ends up being a good backup by the numbers, then I’m that much ahead in setting the roster for the playoffs, though I still bring in the vet for insurance. In the meantime, instead of spending $3m or whatever for a guy to sit at the end of the bench, I’m paying a forward to play every game and score.

Jack is my starter. I’m just looking for a warm body if he gets hurt. Nobody is winning the cup with their backup in net.

Whats weird is i almost, sort of agree with you.

I dont think you should pay a ton for a goalie, especially the Jack level mid tier, but i think you need to do better than some league min kid who is bad, and an unnamed vet.
