TML? More like FML, amirite? Yet Another Off Season Thread

So who do the leafs sign tomorrow?
Do they refrain from signing anyone and just ride the status quo and hope someone moves the needle during training camp. Save the money for in season acquisitions maybe?
And if Dubas goes does Zeke lose his per deim from MLSE as their number one influencer?
Be interesting to see if Dubas can rectify this unrest. Maybe he has a trade that will forgive all .... Schieflie (?) For the second line center...... Kane 1 or 2
 
It will be status quo. They have $5 mill in cap space to sign Sandin, Engvall and replace Mikheyev, Kase and Mrazek. Bargain bin shopping, no big trades, Same team next year with worse goaltending somehow.
 
All we can hope for is that this gamble that pays off. If, as I suspect, this experiment fails, Dubas should be terminated at the end of this season when his contract expires.

After this season, Matthews contract goes into the last year. We desperately need for Auston to renew his contract.
If he is dissatisfied with Duba's direction, that may not happen.

It could be status quo...but with a mostly new bottom 6 and all 3 of Brodie Tavares and Muzzin potential decline candidates, it could easily not be.

as for the goaltending, it would be hard to do worse than last year. whoever Dubas gets as backup will be better than Kallgren or guys we have in the minors. And Matt Murray is a better goalie than Campbell, the problem is health. And Campbell ain't exactly an iron man himself.
