Vasi wasn't better than Jack even in game 7.
.968 (*.935), 2.58 gsaX vs. .920, 0.07 gsaX.
Quite literally the difference.

40/80 career high? Borderline maybe.Forsberg is elite for me. I’m not so into Gaudreau.

He was their best player but he wasn’t standing on his head to win that game.He made some stellar saves guys. Come on now. Lightning don't win game 7 except for Vasi.
Campbell .897
Vasilevskiy .897
and that's even with Tavares' goal getting stolen and not counting against Vasi's stats (and game 7 stats especially).
He was the reason they won imhoHe was their best player but he wasn’t standing on his head to win that game.
this is actually making the opposite point you think you're making.
Vasi wasn't great most of the series and Jack still couldn't be better when it counted.
which one is getting dunked on by fucking Nick Paul in an elimination game?
and stop with the stolen election stuff. your boy Holl ran a clumsy pick.
Tavares beat him and beat him badly. Vasi got lucky it didn't count.
You have to get the idea that Muzz will stay healthy or be much better than he was In the regular season out of your head. He had a great playoffs but that was after 50 games of junk and 30 injured games or whatever. He’ll older and he’s for sure gone in two years anyway, and we’ve got Lilly and Sandin. There’s zero reason to keep that salary on the books and not convert him into prime young assets.Could save another 3-3.5m in a Muzzin for Gio swap. Their d would look a little iffy if they did that so I get the hesitancy.
Even without that goal Leafs should have scored 3-4 goals.
It was all down to Nick "My Favourite Beatle Is" Paul.He was the reason they won imho
Who is Pep?WeHave loves Pep so much
Don't play coy nowWho is Pep?
I mean, I’m not looking for McDavid. Just another true first liner. I love Forsberg. I don’t really trust Gaudreau.40/80 career high? Borderline maybe.
Johnny G 40/115 is elite
Whether Muzz is good next year or not doesn't matter really. The fact is he has been a top 4 horse for this team for years. If they move on from him it's a loss and something they'll need to replace (hopefully from within, because Gio can't be expected to replace what he brought). You have to get the idea that Muzz will stay healthy or be much better than he was In the regular season out of your head. I don't think the Leafs outplayed or outchanced the Bolts in this one.
