TML? More like FML, amirite? Yet Another Off Season Thread

Campbell .897
Vasilevskiy .897

and that's even with Tavares' goal getting stolen and not counting against Vasi's stats (and game 7 stats especially).

this is actually making the opposite point you think you're making.

Vasi wasn't great most of the series and Jack still couldn't be better when it counted.

which one is getting dunked on by fucking Nick Paul in an elimination game?

and stop with the stolen election stuff. your boy Holl ran a clumsy pick.

they both let in 2 goals in game 7. Each had 1 that could have been waived off for interference, but only 1 was.

Could save another 3-3.5m in a Muzzin for Gio swap. Their d would look a little iffy if they did that so I get the hesitancy.
You have to get the idea that Muzz will stay healthy or be much better than he was In the regular season out of your head. He had a great playoffs but that was after 50 games of junk and 30 injured games or whatever. He’ll older and he’s for sure gone in two years anyway, and we’ve got Lilly and Sandin. There’s zero reason to keep that salary on the books and not convert him into prime young assets.

Whether Muzz is good next year or not doesn't matter really. The fact is he has been a top 4 horse for this team for years. If they move on from him it's a loss and something they'll need to replace (hopefully from within, because Gio can't be expected to replace what he brought).

I don't think the Leafs outplayed or outchanced the Bolts in this one.

Moneypuck: 3.58-2.07
Nat: 3.04-2.95

Both numbers exclude Tavares goal, so either way Vasy saved 2 goals above expected. The biggest difference was one goalie saved more chances.
