That's a top winger and their #1D out for over 1/3 of the season, and their PP2 D out for the first month+. PP1 could be....Mike Reilly. yeesh.
 
There was a lot of ridiculous coach firings/hirings this offseason. I think Cassidy had them overacheiving last year and they fired him.
 
Boston doesn't make excuses. Keefe would have been gone by now.

Eh, I dunno. I don't want to say Keefe should have bee fired because other teams made dumb decisons. Cassidy, Trotz should still be employed by Boston, Islanders.
I'm no fan of hiring recycled coaches that have been fired 3+ times.
 
I think you could put around 150 other names in that graphic instead of Kane’s and it would be just as true. And just as insignificant.
 
50% retention would be kerfoot, plus Sandin and Holl or they get another team to retain another 25% or so and offer a . prospect or pick

Drafted in 2007 and started playing immediately. Only dipped below 60 points one time, and that was only because of the lockout in 2013 and he still managed 55 in 47 games that year. 92 points last year at age 33 for a shit team. PPG or better 11 times out of 15 seasons. Pretty crazy.
