Made the decision not appreciating 115 point teams or the best Leafs player to hit the ice in my lifetime would just be a huge waste. If we ever end up back at throwing waffles, I’ll be longing for this time.

Doesn’t bother me if others don’t care about the regular season although it’ll be sorta silly if they plan to tell us that over and over all season long.

it's pretty nice watching regular season hockey and expecting to win. and getting to watch a hall of fame talent doing his thing in the process (better than basically anyone else has done it).

I don't think anyone is horny to watch Jarnkrok and shit. They didn't add anyone too exciting.

It was an underwhelming offseason, to be sure. the team clearly needed more offence from lines 3 and 4. not sure who else is on the 4th unit besides Kubel, but Jarnkrok-Kampf-Engvall is a checking line if there ever was one. it won't be a problem in the regular season though, so perhaps Glasses figures a deadline impact offensive add is the way to go.

may the Leafs have guaranteed more salary than other PTO offers did?

I don't think PTO is tied to salary - I think they negotiate it like every other situation. I'd imagine they already have some minimum $750k or $1M agreed, and it just kicks in if he makes the team.
