yeah, should've said FA market.what do you mean by "goalie market" though? FAs only?
I love the actor that plays Bob. James Wolk. Really good, just had a show that was cancelled called Ordinary Joe or something, which was the most poorly executed piece of shit ever, can't believe they put him through that.
It's kind of actually going in that direction now. How funny would that be.
If we ran Kallgren as #1, I don't think we even need a #2, so let me just leave it at that.I'd do a retained Gibson over a retained Price. Assuming he's just mostly a cap dump and the cost to acquire is cheap... Don't see much else out there. Stolarz ain't getting moved, Varlamov is gonna cost you a 1st...
@LeafOfFaith think Kallgren can be the Leafs #1?
MAF is roastedIf Price actually would play (and isn't just going to be an IR mainstay for us too), and they take Mrazek back, and there's some other aspect that lets us save a few bucks and pick up some prospect/pick or something, I'd have to entertain it at this point.
I don't think there's anyone else out there other than Fleury? If he's willing to take a 2 year deal at low money ($3M or $4M), I'd look at that too. Or maybe first.
Gibson at 3.2 is a mucho better bet than Price at 5.25 tho.If we ran Kallgren as #1, I don't think we even need a #2, so let me just leave it at that.
And the Gibson path has only devastation ahead. Detour.
I was gonna say, they both make me want to barf. But if you're gonna pay $3m, I'd rather just go to $5m because I think Price has a waaaay better chance of being good than Gibson. And make up the difference in cash (because at this point Price is worth no more than a $3M gamble) with the other assets moving in the deal (fucking Simmonds who they wanted so bad, give them Cliffy).Gibson at 3.2 is a mucho better bet than Price at 5.25 tho.
Both bets suck, mind you. But I like the Gibson bet better since it's cheaper. Good news is they have Kallgren so neither is needed.
