Did Dubes even make the US team? Oh and did they only play 1 season thus far? Overall no way you take Dubes over Nash.

Okay lets start over then. I asked what moves you liked by the Rangers and you said Gaborik for Nash.

So provided you didn't think they were traded for each other does that mean that you liked the Brandon Dubinsky, Artem Anisimov, Tim Erixon and a 1st round pick for Nash trade?


moron? Was that necessary? When someone is asked which moves they liked and they say Gaborik for Nash they're a moron for thinking that means that someone thought that was a trade?

Just like the Thornton trade to San Jose....

Just like the Gretzky trade....

When you get the best player, you usually win that trade.....Nash is an awesome talent.

Giroux didn't make team Canada and Nash did, does that mean you take Nash over Giroux on the Habs? Seems like a poor way to decide.

And no, they've played lots of seasons, and ever since Nash turned into a 60ish point floater I'd take Dubinsky over him in a heartbeat. Nash is likely to score some more points over him but Dubinsky is a much more complete player who plays a gritty power game.

Giroux wasn't taken because he was absolutely horrendous during the first half of the season and only now picked it up. He has a ceiling and it's high. Dubes on the other hand is a glorified version of Brandon Prust. I'd take him on my team anytime, but let's be serious, over Nash? Not a chance. How good do you think Nash's numbers would be if he played with a legit top pivot.

We are? Why would we not take into account salary when comparing who we want on our team? There's a salary cap.

Your math might be a bit off there, if you're taking Nash at $7.8m and a scrub at $1m then you get Dubinsky at $4.2m so that leaves you $4.6m for your 2nd player.

They both were on the Rangers at the same time.... Most of last season. So the Rangers didn't have a cap issue.

Gaborik was moved because Torts hated him and had him on the fourth line.
