I'd trade for Myers.

I'd like to retain Tinordi too though. Could you imagine Tinordi-Myers as a third pair?

I'd trade Gorges for Myers.

Not sure what that accomplished for anyone. It has to be more like Collberg or Fucale plus a pick.

I'm sure there would be a prospect and/or pick involved as well. I was talking core player. You sort of knew that though, you just wanted to exert your inner Krustiness.

Markov isn't going anywhere, to take on Myers you need to move a core D to make cap space and roster space. More importantly is the cap space.

Gorges is not a core player. He's really a 5th or 6th d-man on a good team.
 
So is Myers.

Saying Gorges isn't a core player is idiotic by the way. He's used as one.
 
I used the same criteria.

Myers is currently no more than a 5-6th D on a good team. Gorges is used as a core player and would be second pair on almost any team.

Wow, talk about asking for too much. Take out the pick(s) and maybe. I still think Tinordi will be a top 4 guy.
