We definitely bought low but still paid a fairly high price given the risk. If he bounce back it won't be so bad but I'm not still unsure of his upside. He's about a 30 points C/W right now, are we hoping for a 50 points C/W or more?

Newhook does have a high ceiling. A disappointing season doesn't change that for me.

We have to remember that a lot of players who were drafted in 2019 spent the next 2 seasons trying to develop during Covid. Their development was stunted as a result and a lot of them will be late bloomers. He was taken 16th overall. He was drafted that high for reasons.

There's no path for us to move up in the draft without parting with the caliber of assets that we aren't going to part with.
