Devils took 5 years to make the playoffs after years of retooling

Where is he a better fit , the now ready to compete Devils with more elite talent coming up on D or the maybe Habs in 3 years

If he wants to come to Montreal he can sign for 5 years like you said on a team friendly deal , but thats not happening

Line two: Dubois-Dach-Slafkovsky

Line three: Winger Suzuki-winger

Line Four: leftovers that can skate and check.

Where the unnamed wingers are not named Hoffman, Gallagher, Drouin, Armia, Dvorak etc

Anderson is a maybe. Such an enigma.

Future possible wingers in the system:

Roy
Kidney
Farrell
Mesar
Mysak


Those are our top winger forward prospects and I don't see one better than Dubois.

We look better on D than up front prospect wise.

We are missing the main course to the menu

1C ,1D,2D,1G ( or much better than our 2 back ups ) on top of the highlited above

Your trying to spread the depth in the lineup with your supposed 250 goals on your top 9 , not happening

Too many missing pieces before you add PLD

Give me Makar and Sieder and now you can add PLD and hope some kids exceed expectations

PLD has not moved Winnipeg`s needle an inch with a much more established core in a shit western conference

The downside is a team that isnt winning and and have an 8x8 contract on a team not contending with a full no trade clause

The teams that have been winning cups lately have been doing it with their bottom six. Top six gets neutralized.

I will disagree with you. When you need five ingredients and come across one is stupid to say nah, I need to get that ingredient first.

Makes no sense to me at all. On one hand you think he could be a good piece but on the other you think It can wait. Then that piece is gone when you need it.

Every cup team won with elite talent leading the way , and good contributions from the middle 6 and 1-2 Fernando Pisani WFT he did this for us .

Its the same ingredients every fucken year .

Lek is useless without Makar , Nate , Rantanen , Toews . Landeskog leading the way

Goodrow, Coleman , dont have a cup without Hedman , Kuch, Point Stammer , etc....on a roster

Lets do this give Colorado PLD and remove Rantanan , Nate , and Makar .......what cup are they winning ?
 
Unless we pick 1 or 2 this year, I just don't see who we can get that is better than PLD without giving up the farm.. If we sign PLD by UFA it shores up down the middle for years to come and we gave up nothing. Part of player development is allowing them to play under a system that maximizes their talent..you need players to do that..

You think PLD and his agent are coming to Montreal without a full no trade clause and not 8 plus mil , your dreaming

Every half decent player has a trade clause , even shit players have modified trade clauses .

Your adding a nice player to a team that has maybe 6 current players worth keeping and none is a superstar
