They’re right though. Canada gave unprecedented market access to the EU because they’re the world’s biggest customs union, and so their negotiating power is immense. Why would we give little UK the same deal?

But I wouldn’t phrase it as “someone will die”

the point is that whether you get really sick, medium sick or just a little sick you probably won't die in most cases that's hyperbole!!

ah okay did not realize you just objected to what you perceived as hyperbole in the tweet. understood.

but I don't think I agree that it is hyperbolic. I've seen a lot of situations with former clients where they will not get the medication or treatment they need if their insurer denies coverage. it is much more common than I think a lot of folks would expect or appreciate. and obviously just a cynical ploy from the insurer in any event.
