Do we need to chuck him? He makes what will be mid 2nd pair money very soon, we have 22+ mil coming off the books and the cap is going up significantly.

A couple weird things I can't really explain.
First, their underlying numbers are getting worse and worse as the season goes on (both advanced and traditional +/-) but they continue to win at the same rate.
Second, obviously part of this is goaltending, however, over the last two months their goaltending has been middle of the pack and they continue to win at the same rate.
Third, obviously another part of it is their scoring talent, however, while they are consistently outscoring their expected goals, the are doing it with a middle of the pack shooting percentage.
This can only mean one thing... stock up on amulets.

And its not special teams either.
They've scored 30 PP goals, given up 4 SH goals and they've given up 28 SH goals and scored 4, so they are +2.
Also its not a bunch of shootout luck, they haven't played on. They are 6-2 in OT, but are 5th in regulation wins.
