You add the garlic last. I like it with more garlic and less salt. Lemon and olive oil are standard obviously.

I thought we were talking about grilling?
You can grill with garlic. Not on the bbq obviously, when i bbq grill the asparagus i marinate for about 20 minutes then hit it with lemon again on the bbq grill.

You put chopped garlic on it before putting on the grill?

Probably my favourite grilled veg for steaks is green onion. You have to be careful not to crisp the green ends but it's fantastic.

Steaks on the grill tonight!

I chop it more finely when grilling on bbq. Marinate for a bit with olive oil and lemon and the stickiness of the oil allows the garlic to stick to the asparagus. Once you throw it on the heat the viscosity of the oil does the rest with the garlic. It’s delish.

Love green onions but my new undisputed go to grill veggie is the nice big sweet white onions. Vidalia if you can. Grilling them is insanely better than sautéing them.

Tell me more. How do you prep?
No prep needed really. They're great straight up. Just slice them into tranches and grill them enough to get grill marks on the outside and softish in the middle. Though I mowt always add my Italian dressing S&P/oil/balsamic anyways cuz that never hurts.

Interesting.

I found some smallish white heritage onions earlier this week (can't remember the name). Used them as a substitute for pearl onions in my cov. They were delish. I think I'm gonna try grilling them tonight.

went for a stroll and was very happy to discover that Collective Arts opened a bottle shop on Dundas St/Markham. Picked up a bunch of singles that I always wanted to try but were unavailable online
