Good risk at this term, IMO. I thought Bassit would get a 4th year out of someone, considering how insane the FA market has been.

And congrats to Bassit, who was a nobody until age 30.

I remember reading somewhere that Ryu's contract is nearly fully insured so doesn't count nearly as much in the plans. I don't know how that comes into play for CBT calculations, but if that is the case, then we might have marginally more money available. But yeah, if Kiermeier is 8.5 M and Bassitt comes in at 21M, I'm guessing we can't count on an awful lot more spending.
