It is irritating that the team is handing out minor league deals to two probably capable guys to battle for occasional DH vs RHP but are cool rolling with IKF/Biggio/Espinal/Turner at 3B and the same garbage+ Lukes for OF4 with several capable RHH OF4 just sitting there.

Its alot of things but i dont think its that.

If this was a PR move it wouldnt be done after everyone was already pissed with no guarantee he makes the club.

Ernie Clement at minimum should steal the bench gig from Santiago Espinal and probably should get a long look as the 3B with i guess Biggio as a platoon partner, and shift IKF to the bench

That said, JD Davis was released.

He's truly a superior option to everything we have at 3B and would be flat out embarrassing if they didn't pursue him.

I doubt it too, but he is vastly better than anyone they can trot out at 3B.

Fuck them if they let this go by and commit to the trash they have.

I fully expect them to start the season with Espinal ( cause they like him more than anyone else), waive Clement, and not get any production whatsoever from the 3B position
