Trying to determine if I want to cancel my Fanduel subscription on April 18 after the regular season ends
Does FD do the first round of Canes playoffs?
Yea. You’ll want to keep it until after round 1

Because you aren’t in their market. Wilmington and Charlotte (maybe) are and other areas of Southern nc, but Fayetteville, Raleigh etc…are considered market area for orioles and/or nationals so we get their games on masn or FanDuel. I have to buy mlb tv package every year to watch my Braves. My buddies in Wilmington get Braves games or at least used to. Haven’t talked to them in a year or 2Another FanDuel question.
During the Canes broadcasts they have been advertising the Braves games.
Braves are playing right now but no game on FD
We are in both. When my Mets play the O’s or the Nats, the games are blocked out here.Yeah, I think we're still in the Nationals TV market, although it could be the Orioles for all I know. I just get MLB TV once the hockey season is over so I can watch Cards games.
Yeah, it's always been weird. Somehow we're a DC/Baltimore market yet I'm not sure I've ever met more than a handful of people who would claim to follow either team. Braves fans, on the other hand, are absolutely everywhere. We are in both. When my Mets play the O’s or the Nats, the games are blocked out here.
I think our late friend Greensboro Hurricanes was an Orioles fan. And I have a friend who was a columnist for the Baltimore Sun (and a good hockey man too, he ran the Baltimore girls program). Well, I was a Cards fan growing up in West Tennessee, but that changed after moving to NC with Ted Turner's Superstation.Yeah, I think we're still in the Nationals TV market, although it could be the Orioles for all I know. Muskegon reference appreciated. And I wish Mike would stop the hell outta that. It's Ernie's and nobody else's. Says me.*ahem* Ernie Harwell and Paul Carey would like a word with all of you, out on the corner of Michigan and Trumbull.
Where do you think Mike got the idea for "a lucky fan from [North Carolina town here] gets themselves a puck" from? Ernie Harwell! Foul ball into the crowd and a lucky fan from Muskegon gets themselves a baseball

I mean, I agree but everybody loves their own team's iconic broadcaster and thinks they're the best ... if they have one. The Cardinals organization has been fortunate to produce a number of very good broadcasters, but Jack Buck was an all-timer. Caray? Never cared for him. Partly because he defected to the Cubs, but also because that drunk uncle schtick just isn't my thing. Uecker I could take. Caray was a less funny version.Well, I was a Cards fan growing up in West Tennessee, but that changed after moving to NC with Ted Turner's Superstation.
By the way, there has never been a better baseball broadcast team than Jack Buck and Harry Caray. Such a treat listening to them on KMOX calling the great Cards games in the 60's.
This is the first year the Braves have been available to stream in-market without a "traditional" TV subscription, so they're hyping the heck out of it. I think most of the western half of NC is considered part of the Braves home market.Another FanDuel question.

I’d say welcome, but you’ve been here for a very long time, so congrats on your first post? This is the first year the Braves have been available to stream in-market without a "traditional" TV subscription, so they're hyping the heck out of it. Edit to add: And somehow that was my first post here after 13+ years of lurking, so... Hi?
