TML? More like FML, amirite? Yet Another Off Season Thread

So we're right up against the cap now if we carry the minimum 20 man roster with no extras.

And that's with Sandin unsigned.

So even a Holl trade alone probably doesn't get us the room we want.
 
Ugh. Bought zero UFA years and he goes free at the end of the year. Looks at Mikky’s deal and wonders if he can’t get the same, I guess. Dammit.
 
So trading Kerf and Holl while re-upping Sandin would leave us with about $2.5m or so for another forward i think.
 
The baller nerd move would be to sign Evan Rodriguez for $1 mill. Trade Kerfoot and Holl and bank the cap space for the deadline where it’s worth like $8 mil.

They are ~100k under now with 20 and no sandin. Move Holl and that is just under $2.2 which gives you $1.4 for Ras and $800k ish in space.

edit: they could give him $1.372. Or $1.4 if they keep a $750 guy like Anderson or Malgin over Robertson. But of course they could just move Robertson up and down on off days to bank the space.
