The only reason this channel ever got created was for the then-owners to squeeze more money out of Rogers and Bell with the threat of putting Leaf games onto a team-owned channel instead of Sportsnet or TSN.

I’m surprised the channel lasted as long as it did after Bell and Rogers banded together to buy the team.

It was a pretty underwhelming product and they missed, IMO, a lot of opportunities to air things that quite a lot of Leaf fans talking about having to find streams for ie) quite a lot of games during the Marlies Calder runs, development camp stuff, etc. The Leafs twitter account has more interesting things to watch.
