Trades are very hard to do during the regular season. I can see Jarvis being sent to Chicago for Rees. Jarvis can get his confidence back and Rees can get a shot. He’s a very gritty player. Is Kotkaniemi waiver exempt?

I’m at the game tonight here in beautiful downtown St Paul. I’m with my son, who I brainwashed at a very young age to be a Whaler/Hurricane fan. Hopefully the offense will wake up and give us a nice 5-2 victory!

I agree that Kotkaniemi is not a second line center. He has to produce. A second line center needs to produce at least 50 points. I’m convinced they need to go into another direction if they want to be in cup contention. Maybe in 2-3 years he’ll produce, but this team’s window is closing soon...

So so typical of this team…. They outplayed Colorado all night long, consistently controlled the game, take 3-4 shots, Colorado crosses the line and takes one shot and scores. 🙄

Totally dominated the first two periods. NO PUCK-LUCK at all. Could easily be up 4-2.

What a goofy schedule. They play in Denver & Chicago. Then come home for one game, then go to Minnesota & Winnipeg!

This has been one of his worst games ever. #20 just didn’t have it tonight…..

Hopefully the Canes can stay clear of the penalty box tonight. Colorado’s power play is extremely good where as the Cane’s pk has been unusually poor/inconsistent. It’s going to come down to the special teams performance tonight.

My two cents on this team so far after six games(I’ve watched all 6 games): -Aho, Necas, & Svech = excellent, they are carrying the team. -Necas has been playing with confidence. Totally different player from last year. -Burns has not impressed me at all. Big, sloppy, & SLOW!! -Jarvis is trying...

So true, plus Anderson has played a weak net.
